New Tech Network invites teachers, administrators and support staff in the New Tech Network to facilitate sessions at NTAC 2011. Session ideas should fall into one of the categories from the School Success Rubric.
The deadline to submit an application to facilitate a session at NTAC 2011 has passed. For more information, please contact Lee Fleming at lfleming@newtechnetwork.org.
Facilitator Guidance:
Audio Visual Equipment
- New Tech Network will provide a screen, projector, AV cart, power cord,
flipchart and markers. These items will already be set in each workshop
room.
- If you need any additional AV equipment while
you are onsite, please visit the registration desk and we will do our best
to accommodate your needs.
- If you have problems with your AV equipment onsite,
please reach out to event staff to troubleshoot any issues.
Materials and Handouts
- Facilitators are responsible for their own
handouts and materials. If you wish to print any materials onsite, you are
welcome to use the Business Center (however, this can be expensive). If
possible, please plan to prepare your handouts ahead of time at an
off-site location.
- If you wish to have any handouts posted to the
NTAC site prior to the conference, please send them to conference@newtechnetwork.org with the name of your workshop. If you do not
need to post materials and just plan to bring them with you, that’s
absolutely fine – you do not need to send anything prior to the
conference.
- All facilitators are responsible for shipping or
carrying their own materials back to their home site.
- If you have materials that you want to share
after your session, please feel free to place them on the Resource Table.
Please pick up any unused materials at the end of the conference.
